Following surgical training in Birmingham and orthopaedic training in Oswestry, Paul has been appointed as an orthopaedic surgeon at the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital in 2000. In addition, he is director of the histopathology laboratories, biobank for health and disease and genomic lead. Paul is past president of the British Orthopaedic Oncology Society, board member of the British Sarcoma Group and statistical advisor to the European Journal of Hand Surgery.
